Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground

Welcome to the official Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground website. My husband and I purchased the Rendezvous in December of 2008 and are excited to call it home.  I grew up on a resort in northern Minnesota and so resort life is something I know.

My brother Dan has joined us.  He has kayaked most of the local rivers and can help you plan your canoe or kayak trip.  Our nephew Nick is also working with us.  He spent many summers in northern Minnesota on the resort and is a valuable asset. My parents, Dale and Dale Saethre are in the process of moving to the Rendezvous also.

With over 50 years of resort experience, we should have the resort running well. We invite you to join us on the beautiful Suwannee River

The Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground is home to Convict Spring.  Convict Spring is a natural fresh water spring that feeds the Suwannee River.  The spring is a "cool" place to swim.  It is also home to small fish and some turtles.

There is a mapped underwater cave system with an entrance from the spring.  The cave has a restricted entrance which makes it a challenging and dangerous dive.  We have a DVD of the cave being explored by experienced side mount cave divers in the lodge and we will show it anyone who would like to see it.
