Charlie's 2nd Post - Suwannee River Rendezvous

This is Dulcimer. She is very pretty and she likes it here at the Rendezvous. Her mom plays the Church Organ and she is named for one of the stops. Pretty cool name.

This is Mac from Scotland, his ancestors anyway. He was very interesting to talk to. I have never had a friend from Scotland before.

Mack Diesel is just a young guy but very well behaved. He is named after a truck and I think his mom and dad think he is going to get as big as a truck. He does have pretty big feet.

Mattie was nice to visit me but I was in the middle of my nap time and I just couldn’t get up.

This is Mayo and Champ. Their mom and dad found these two and now they live with them. They were learning the art of begging while at the Rendezvous. I have it pretty well mastered but I do share my technique with the new comers.

Millie is just the cutest little thing. She liked me too. I can’t wait for her to come back.

This is Nicklaus. He was so cute, a little frightened of me because I’m bigger than him but we became friends once I showed him how gentle I am.

Peanut Butter ( white and brown) and Jelly (black) stayed for several days and I got to know them pretty well. Jelly was a bit scared at first but I won her over. Her mom and dad gave me a biscuit every morning when I visited.

Raisin was afraid of me. She is so small and I am so big. I like little ones; I lay down so they can look me in the eyes. Then they are usually not afraid of me.

I was telling Random about all the good food we have here at the Rendezvous. My waist line has grown a bit and mom says I can’t beg anymore, so I have to beg when she is not looking.

This is Rosie and she was fun to be around. There are so many girls and so little time.

Roxie’s dad was trying to get all of us to sit. Mom was not having any luck at all. The white poodle was so pretty but mom didn’t get her name. Roxie had a good time here at the resort.

Skittles is getting up in years but she still gets around. Keeping up with her daughter helps keep her young.

This is Shadow. She is 14 years old and we shaired nap time. We both need our beauty sleep every day.

Skippy and I went for a walk down the spring cut. We chased the fish and had a really good time. She is a little older than me but boy can she chase fish. I couldn’t keep up with her.

Sassy was here with her mom Skittle and her picture is below. They were so cute and they look alike too.

This is Sugar. I was playing hard to get. She is a really nice girl and fun to visit with.

Taco got to ride on his mom’s walker. I wish my mom had one of those. It would have to be a bit bigger for me though.

Tilly was such a sweet heart. She and Tobie played around the lodge while she was here

Zabache wanted me to come down and play but I was too tired.

This is Annie and she has the cutest ears. She looks a lot like Seamus. I said hello but she really likes her mom so I went back to my sofa.

Budda Bear and I had a great time. He didn’t really like to go in the cold spring water but his mom made him any way. He liked it once he got in. I just stay in the cut. I am getting kind of old to swim in the spring.

This is Casie and she loves swimming in the spring. Her mom and dad don’t mind the wet dog smell at all.

This friend was a lot a fun to play with but mom forgot her name. I think her name is Lucy. Her mom and dad told my mom but she didn’t write it down. She thinks she can remember stuff like names. She barely remembers my name.

Chica went out the door with my bone and that is ok too.

Ruby and I like the same kind of bone. She chewed for a while and then I got to chew. I shair with my friends.

Gypsy came to visit for several days and she was a lot of fun. She has a lot of energy and loves playing in the spring. She has a cool haircut too. I want mom to let me have one, I don’t want her to do it though. I heard from my brothers, ( Shannon and Chris) that she is not too good with the clippers.

This is Chip. He had a great time playing in the water with all the other dogs.

Cinnamon is up in years and has lost some teeth. She looks like she is angry but she is a little camera shy around the spring. She didn’t want her picture taken when she was all wet. Girls like to look their best in pictures. Us guys really don’t care how we look as long as we are comfortable.

This is C.J. I forgot to ask what C.J. stood for. Maybe he is named after me! I would be so honored. He is a youngster but very friendly. I was kind of tired and C.J. wanted to play. I did go out later and hung out a while with him.

Cocoa is from the Florida Trail Association. She is a working dog and can help her dad carry his water bottles. They go on lots of trips and explore Florida.

Seamus is just a youngster and boy does she mind her mom and dad. We talked for a little bit and then she went out to play. I try to greet and meet as many friends as I can.

This is Moke and his dad is a veterinarian but they still sneak me food. Mom keeps trying to get me to stick to my diet. Good Luck with that. Moke is very well behaved and so quiet that I didn’t even know he was here at first.

Gidget is a sooooo cute. Killer wasn’t even afraid of her and he is afraid of all my friends. I don’t think Killer thought she was a dog.

This is Goofy and he is the boy friend of Skittles. That is what her mom said anyway. Goofy liked the water and he had a good time playing around in it.

This is Harley and she loves to swim in the spring. It is a great place to get wet and there is some dirt to role around in when you get you get out. Mom and Dad have a hose by the lodge to help get the mud off.

Hooch and I had a great time playing together. He came to see me at the lodge several times and we have become great friends.

This is Little Bitty and he sure was cute. I don’t think he really liked the water all that much but he did like being here walking around and smelling stuff.
